At QT we are committed to arrange top quality motorcycle tours ranging from 3 to 10 days. We are specialized on tours of northern Vietnam with focus on the less touristic provinces of Ha Giang and Cao Bang with their majestic limestone karsts mountains and plentiful ethnic minorities.

Our customers consist of solo riders, couples, families, groups of friends and motorcycle clubs. Tours may consist of one to ten travellers. Majority of tours at QT are custom made to meet the motorcycle skill level, time available and interest of our customers. You may ride behind our skilled guides/drivers or if sufficiently experienced drive yourself. On tours that are four or more days long we are happy to include some light trekking for those interested.

Our guides are local resources with a passion and pride for motorcycling and this region. They are mainly from poor backgrounds with good verbal English skills. They are not anthropologist nor historians, but they are a jolly team who know their culture and the unbeaten paths and love to show you the best that Ha Giang and Cao Bang have to offer.

Summary

  • On this tour we explore one of the most fascinating motorcycle loops one can imagine – the Northern Ha Giang Loop. There is nothing ‘standard’ when venturing out on these roads and there is no ‘standard’ way how to put the roads together or what sights to explore more in depth. It all comes down to what one wish to put priority on, interest, seasons and driving skills. On this tour there is the possibility to include some shorter ½ trekking if that is of interest.

3 Day all-inclusive tour

We had the most amazing time during the loop. As we both don’t have any experience in motorbikes, we decided to do it with easy riders and booked the all-inclusive-package for three days. It was worth every penny!

Our drivers Brian and Vĩnh were excellent! Not only that we felt very save, but they also showed us many beautiful spots, we had the most amazing food and slept at wonderful places. We visited the markets in Don Van and Meo Vac, went swimming under a waterfall, and and and... it was amazing! We can recommend this tour to everybody! Even if you don’t need easy riders we recommend doing the trip with a guide, as he can give you so many interesting informations about nearly everything you will see and eat during the Loop! They also speak good English, which makes it very easy to communicate!

Trip of a lifetime!!

Huge thanks to QT Motorbikes and Tours for all the help on making our trip around the loop. Bike was one of the best I’ve ever rented, same goes for all the protective gear (really clean, dry). The guys at the shop were able to answer all my questions and help us plot out the trip, places of interest and what to lookout for. Also helped get us get loaded and on the road. Easy to contact on the road as well if any problems should come up via WhatsApp. Thanks for helping me and my gf make a trip we’ll never forget!!! Look no further!!! AMAZING!

If you’re planning on doing the Ha Giang loop, look no further. QT has great staff, great bikes, and lots of support. They made sure we were comfortable on the bikes before we left, and sat down with us for at least 15 minutes to go over the route and give us homestay recommendations. Everywhere we stayed was 10/10, there were no surprises. I got a flat tire one day and QT reimbursed me for the fix (because I got insurance with him). He was also available via WhatsApp to answer and questions we had. For novice riders, QT and team made us feel comfortable and safe. Thanks so much!!

Great company!

Hired bikes at this company for the Ha Giang loop. Would definetly recommend this place as they just offer great service and respond quickly when you are having a problem. Another nice thing about this company is when you don’t know if you want to do the loop in 3 or 4 days you pay for 4 days and if you return early you get your money back. Also the bikes were in top condition.
